A scheduled bus service and private operators transport passengers in registered taxis to and from Hosea Kutako International Airport and the capital. The Intercape Mainliner bus service runs between major centres within the country and connects with Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pretoria, Upington, and other towns and cities in South Africa. This bus service also travels between Windhoek and Walvis Bay, Victoria Falls and Livingstone. The Econolux bus service travels between Walvis Bay, Windhoek, Noordoewer, Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Bellville and Paarl three times a week.
