Namibia Holiday & Travel - Adventure in Namibia - With mules through the Fish River Canyon
Mule Trails
Mule Trails Namibia offers trekking tours in the Fish River Canyon without hikers having to carry heavy gear. Hiking enthusiasts who are physically fit and adventurously minded enjoy the rugged beauty of almost pristine nature in the second-largest canyon on earth with just a light rucksack containing the day’s necessities. Luggage and equipment is carried by mules. In contrast to the existing five-day hikes with full backpacks from Hikers' Point south to Ai-Ais, the trekking tours are guided by qualified guides and take place in the wilderness area north of the main lookout point. Meals are cooked on an open fire. Shower and toilet offer something out of the ordinary: a view into the great open wilds. Nights are spent in tents or in the open under the starry sky.
There are two trails: The Canyon Fish Eagle Trail (5 days/4 nights) and the Canyon Klipspringer Trail (4 days/3 nights). Transfers from and to Windhoek on request. Bookings: Unlimited Travel & Car Hire cc reservations@mule-trails-namibia.com www.mule-trails-namibia.com
